What is the cost of Behind the Wheel (BTW)? 
Cost depends on your location.
 
Do you provide classroom Driver Education? 
No, many High Schools provide that service or classroom can be done online through 'Vadets,' or Call 1-866-DMV-LINE (368-5463) for more information about classroom.  Classroom must be completed before Behind the Wheel.
 
What are my responsibilites as a parent? 
At the conclusion of BTW parents are required to certify that their child has driven for at least 45 hours, 15 of which must be after sunset before the student is eligible for a provisional license.
 
My child tells me my hand position on the wheel is wrong.  What is the correct hand position?
 
8 and 4 o'clock on the steering wheel is correct.
 
What does your 'Behind the Wheel' service include?
The student will receive 7, 50 minute periods of Behind the Wheel instruction and 7, 50 minute periods observing another student Behind the Wheel. 
 
When is my child eligible to get a Learner's Permit? 
At age 15 years and 6 months of age students may obtain a Learner's Permit through the DMV.  Additonally students are required to hold the Learner's Permit for 9 months before they are eligible to get the Driver's License. They may, however complete BTW before 9 months.
 
What if my child has been home schooled, where can we get classroom? 
Classroom can be done online through 'Vadets,' and other available programs after which homeschool students can receive Behind the Wheels through Jack's Driving School.  We have had many homeschooled student complete the Behind the Wheel with Jack.

Where do we meet the instructer? 
Students can be picked up and dropped off at school or home.
